The Hampshire House Wedding Videographer :: Boston, MA :: Jennifer and Greg (Part I - Dances)

We had the pleasure of working with Jennifer and Greg on September 22, 2012.  What a stunning wedding!  OK, so you’re probably wondering where all their events took place?   Drum-roll, please!  Our day started with Jennifer’s bridal preps at the Westin Copley Place (Boston, MA).  Then we quickly transitioned to the ceremony at the historic St. Mary of the Assumption Parish (Brookline, MA).  Following the ceremony, we grabbed our gear to head over to the Boston Public Gardens to capture some stunning shots of the couple and their wedding party along the footbridge at the Commons (right at sunset)!   And finally, we followed the wedding party to the ever-so-elegant reception at the Hampshire House (Boston, MA).   Needless to say, we certainly captured tons of amazing moments for this happy couple.

What clip to show first is always a challenge, but with Jennifer and Greg, the selection was real easy! At the end of the night, I told the newlyweds that I would have their first blog post ready in a few weeks.   Greg immediately asked that their first online clip be their first dance as well as their parent dances.   Done!  I love it when couples are so excited to see their footage online!

And now, a little about their dances.   Bill was my secondary filmmaker that evening, and he and I were positioned along the dance floor to capture varying shots of the couple as they performed a stunning rumba.  And let’s not forget about the parent dances….. Greg’s energized merengue with his mother makes me want to tap my feet in-time with the music.  And Jennifer’s elegant slow-dance with her father is full of emotion… you can’t help but smile when watching the two of them.  Special thanks to DJ Joshua van Aalst for keeping the entertainment so classy!

So let’s jump to the footage, shall we?  More to come soon!
